A Personalised, Integrative Approach to Therapy

My approach is uniquely tailored to each individual, recognising that no two people are alike. I believe that deep healing and meaningful transformation happen when we work holistically—addressing not only the mind, but also the body, emotions, and nervous system. This integrated way of working draws on both top-down (thoughts, beliefs, meaning-making) and bottom-up (sensations, nervous system responses, body-held trauma) processes to support true healing from within.

Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all method, I am committed to meeting you exactly where you are, honouring your lived experience and the pace at which your system feels safe to explore and process.

An Integrative, Trauma-Informed Lens

I bring together a range of evidence-based approaches, weaving them intuitively throughout our work together based on what feels most supportive for you. This includes:

  • Embodied Processing (Level 2 Certified Practitioner): A body-based practice that supports you to tune into your physical sensations and nervous system responses, helping to uncover where emotions, stress, and trauma may be stored in the body. By connecting with your body’s innate wisdom, we can gently release tension, expand your capacity for emotional regulation, and deepen self-awareness and resilience.
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS): Trained in Frank Anderson’s IFS Trauma Treatment, IFS is a parts-based therapeutic approach that views the mind as made up of different parts or aspects, each with its own role and perspective. Through compassionate, curious, and non-judgmental exploration of these parts—including the ones that may feel reactive, protective, or wounded—we foster internal harmony and help you connect with your Self: the calm, compassionate, wise centre within you.
  • Brainspotting (Phase 2 Trained): A focused, subcortical brain-body approach that uses eye positioning to access and process deeper, often unconscious emotional and somatic material. Brainspotting allows for trauma and stuck patterns to be processed at the level where they are held, beneath cognitive awareness, creating space for integration and relief without needing to retell or reanalyse the story.

By integrating these modalities, I offer a flexible and responsive way of working—one that respects your system’s wisdom and supports lasting transformation on every level.

A Belief in Your Capacity to Heal and Thrive

As an optimistic psychotherapist, I hold a deep belief in the human capacity for growth, healing, and self-connection. I believe that within each of us exists an inherent source of inner wisdom—the part of you that knows what you need to feel whole, connected, and at ease.

When we take the time to understand the protective intentions of our inner parts, and allow the body’s messages to be heard, we open the door to greater self-awareness and genuine self-compassion. This understanding empowers you to move through life’s challenges with more clarity, resilience, and balance—able to respond to life rather than react from old wounds or patterns.

While the work we do together can be tender and courageous, I also believe there’s room for lightness, humour, and human connection along the way. Healing doesn’t have to be heavy all the time—it can include curiosity, creativity, and even laughter.
