Somatic Psychotherapy with Sharon Mann
Welcome, I am really glad that you are here.
I offer a gentle, somatic, body centred approach to therapy that supports healing at the pace of your nervous system. Together we create the conditions for your own natural unfolding, allowing lasting change to emerge rather than forcing it.
Book AppointmentWhy This Approach?
Many people come to therapy understanding why they feel the way they do, yet still find themselves repeating the same patterns.
This is often because trauma, stress and early protective responses sit beneath conscious awareness, continuing to shape how we feel and respond in the present.
You might notice anxiety, overwhelm, emotional reactivity, or familiar patterns that don’t seem to change. Even with insight and understanding, you may still find stress, tension or emotional pain living in the body. At times, thinking your way through it just doesn’t seem to create the change you’re looking for.
I don’t see you as broken or needing fixing. I see the ways your mind, body and nervous system have adapted in order to protect you and help you get through. Those adaptations made sense at the time, even if they now feel heavy, limiting or exhausting.

How Healing Unfolds Here
My approach is gentle, body centred and guided by curiosity rather than judgement.
Together we slow down.
We notice.
We become curious.
We trust the wisdom of your system.
Rather than forcing change, we make space for your innate wisdom and capacity to heal to emerge.
If this way of working feels like what you've been looking for, you're warmly invited to get in touch. Whether you'd like to book an appointment or arrange a free 15-minute consultation, I'd love to hear from you.

I offer a blend of trauma-informed, body-based therapies including Embodied Processing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Brainspotting. These approaches support healing not just through talking and insight, but by gently working with the nervous system, emotions, and the deeper parts of your experience, meeting both the mind and body with care, curiosity, and respect for your unique journey.
