Therapeutic Approach
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I believe healing happens through feeling genuinely seen, heard, and accepted within a safe, collaborative relationship. Together, we'll move at a pace that feels right for you, guided by curiosity, compassion, and deep respect for your unique experience.
Every person is different, which is why there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I draw on a range of evidence-informed approaches, always guided by your needs and what unfolds during our work together.
Rather than relying on one approach, I integrate therapies that work together to support deep healing.
Embodied Processing
A somatic therapy that works with the nervous system, emotions and implicit memories held within the body. Instead of only talking about experiences, we gently notice what is happening in the present moment, allowing unresolved experiences to be processed safely.
Brainspotting
Brainspotting accesses the deeper parts of the brain where trauma, emotional experiences and survival responses are stored. It allows processing to occur beyond words, often reaching experiences that traditional talk therapy cannot.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS helps us understand the different parts of ourselves with compassion rather than judgement. As protective parts feel understood, deeper healing becomes possible.
